I recently met a wonderful performer online (through Facebook) who shared with me her amazing vocal talents (which you can hear samples of on her website). Lala McCallan is famous in Europe for her performances on “Italia’s Got Talent” which you can see on the video below.

What’s amazing for us fans of airbrush makeup is that Lady Lala did all her airbrushing for the show herself! So, if you are into performing, modeling, acting or the stage but don’t have the confidence to do your own makeup – think again!

In her own words:

“I always had my trusted “traditional” make up artist for videos and official pics, but since he couldn’t help me with the TV show I had to figure out a way to get good results by myself. This clip is a recap of the show. I had been using Dinair for just a couple of months. The make up is 100% airbrush except for an undercoat of Kryolan base. Because of the amount of make up I use to recreate my face and cover beard shade, airbrush alone for base would dry out my skin too much. If you watch the extended clips you will catch a couple of glimpses of me handling the airbrush stylus”

I love the way she has accentuated her lips with a solid and bold red, using a softer, playful and artistic approach for the eyeshadow. It’s a great contrast which works perfectly in these performances. It just goes to show that you don’t have to be a professional makeup artist to get stunning results. Remember that Lady Lala used her own Dinair airbrush makeup system. Clearly she has a good eye and some playfulness and we should all be inspired by her talents – not only in makeup but in singing and performing as well.
